I have just linked up to do this for the first time, which I am very exited about! The rules are here, and the prompt for this month is "A scene with running water in book or film". One of the first things I thought of when I read this was the destruction of Isengard from the film of The Lord of the Rings. Here it is:











I love this scene - it's so satisfying to watch! Though I have to confess that Treebeard wasn't at all like how I'd imagined him, the directors having selfishly neglected to consult me before making the film!

    I also chose a scene from Lord of The Rings. This is one of my favorite scenes too!

      The Lord of the Rings is so good, isn't it? I love that scene with Arwen that you chose too - that whole chase is amazing!

Top Ten Period Drama Costumes

     It's been way too long since I've done a blog post (note to self: don't start a blog the week before you move house!) and, because of moving, I still don't have time to do a terribly long or thought-out post. So, I've done a round-up of my ten favourite costumes from period dramas. It's in ascending order, starting with my least favourite. There are some dresses that I love but couldn't find any pictures of so had to miss out, but anyway, here we go!                                            10.
